I was able to join Robert Halfon and others to attend David Camerons speech in Battersea, London yesterday. The room was full of people that had never voted Conservative before also new councillors that had come across to the party. A very moving speech from Cameron setting out clear change this country needs.
Essex police are keen to extend the designated non drinking zones in Staple Tye and beyond in an effort they say to combat drinking within certain areas. I stated at a meeting that the problem from drinking must be dealt with by the police and I am alarmed that they could be just pushing the problem from one area to another. What do you think?
